Agreement and authority

These Terms govern access to SportsLedger. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and confirm that you are at least 18 and authorized to act for the sports program you identify. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Program responsibilities

Each program is responsible for its users, records, legal notices, parent or guardian permissions, payment terms and compliance obligations. Programs must provide accurate information, grant only necessary access, promptly remove former users and use youth information only for legitimate program operations.

Acceptable use

You may not use SportsLedger to break the law, harm or exploit a minor, discriminate unlawfully, harass others, upload malicious code, bypass access controls, probe another organization’s data, misuse payment systems, or interfere with the service. We may restrict access to protect users or the service.

Payments

Program fees and family charges are set by the applicable sports program. Stripe processes online payments under its own terms. Unless a written plan states otherwise, SportsLedger is a software provider and is not the merchant providing sports services. Programs are responsible for refunds, disputes, taxes and communicating their payment policies.

SMS program terms

SportsLedger program notifications include practice reminders, game schedules, cancellations, registration updates and team announcements. The SMS campaign is registered under the HoopsLedger brand. Messages identify the applicable platform and program.

Participation is optional. Opting in authorizes SportsLedger program texts to the mobile number in your family profile for the program you select. Consent is not a condition of purchase or program participation, and saving a phone number or joining a team does not by itself provide SMS consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw consent in Communication → Text preferences by selecting “Opt out of texts,” or reply STOP to a received program SMS. After opting out, you will not receive further program notifications through that sender unless you opt in again; a provider confirmation of your opt-out may be sent. For help, contact your program or email admin@sportsledgers.com. If you opted out by replying STOP, text START to the same number to lift the provider’s block before enabling texts in your account again. SMS delivery depends on your carrier and service availability; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on texts for emergency communication. Trials and subscriptions

Eligible new programs may receive a seven-day trial after providing a valid payment method. The checkout page displays the recurring price and billing period before enrollment. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically on day seven and renews for the period shown at purchase until canceled. The program owner or director can cancel through Stripe’s subscription-management portal. Cancellation takes effect as described at the time of cancellation. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing. We will provide notice of material price changes before they take effect.

Data and service operation

Programs retain their rights in program data and authorize SportsLedger to process it to provide, secure and improve the service. We may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify a person or program. Features may change, and occasional interruptions may occur.

Disclaimers and liability

SportsLedger is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is not medical, legal, accounting or emergency-response software. Programs must maintain appropriate emergency procedures and independent records required by law. Liability limitations that apply to a paid plan will be stated in the applicable order or subscription terms.

Termination

You may stop using SportsLedger at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risk, nonpayment or legal requirements. Account owners should request an export before closing an account. Certain provisions survive termination where their nature requires it.
